Call for Applications: NHNPA Board of Directors

The New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association (NHNPA) is inviting applications for various Board of Directors positions for the upcoming term. We are seeking motivated and dedicated professionals to guide our organization as we continue to champion the practice of nurse practitioners across New Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence healthcare advocacy, professional development, and strategic governance.

  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Member-at-Large
  • Student Member

Eligibility:

Current board members are eligible to renew their applications. We highly encourage new applications to bring fresh perspectives to our board. Applicants should be active NHNPA members and reside or work in New Hampshire.

Board Duties:

The Board, in collaboration with the Executive Director, plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of NHNPA. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and reviewing the NHNPA’s mission and ethical guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and financial obligations as outlined in the by-laws and the NH Attorney General’s Guidebook for New Hampshire Charitable Nonprofit Organizations.
  • Overseeing organizational management and strategic planning.
  • Engaging in advocacy efforts and representing NHNPA at key events.

Commitment:

Board members must be prepared to:

  • Attend monthly board meetings via video conference.
  • Serve on at least one committee and actively participate in its operations.
  • Engage in NHNPA activities such as the annual Northern New England Nurse Practitioner Conference, membership drives, and advocacy efforts.
