Rick LePage formally joined NHNPA’s efforts in FY26 as chair of the ad hoc Education Committee and has truly taken the group’s work to the next level.

Increasing NHNPA’s visibility and creating more opportunities to connect with APRNs and the communities we serve has been a priority for both the Board and Rick.

Many members will remember NHNPA’s presence at the Fisher Cats game last summer. Most recently, NHNPA had a terrific showing at the Elliott Corporate 5K—an effort that would not have been possible without Rick going the extra mile.

And in Rick’s case, that included showing up with a surprise: dozens of balloons that helped make the NHNPA booth impossible to miss.

But the balloons were only part of it.

Those of us who spent the evening at the NHNPA tent also had a chance to see Rick doing what he does exceptionally well: connecting with people, starting conversations, sharing information about NHNPA and APRN practice, and making people feel welcome.

That kind of connection is an important part of NHNPA’s work. Advocacy, education, professional development, and membership all depend on relationships—and sometimes those relationships begin with a simple conversation at a community event.

Rick has brought enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine willingness to jump in wherever he can help.

We are pleased to share that Rick has now been formally inducted onto the NHNPA Board of Directors as a Member at Large.

We are grateful for the energy and commitment he has already brought to NHNPA and look forward to seeing where he takes us next.
